Ted Rall's take on creative ideas

The cartoonist Ted Rall is an evil genius – bitter, brilliant, unbridled and unashamed. He once depicted an embattled George Bush praying for another 9/11 so that his political fortunes would rise.
Today's installment from Rall is more benign... but wickedly on point. This is ONE panel of four.
Those of us who live by our "creative ideas" can take heart... until panel four.

Claude:

We Americans aren't exactly a nation full of innovators...or even early adopters...especially our business community.

Fortunately, there is a core of gutsy, bold, daring American business owners who are willing to take a chance and be different, inviting and relevant. They're willing to make a mistake so they can learn something. They're willing to do whatever it takes to succeed!

Thanks for sharing the cartoon...it should make us all think.

Thanks, Mark. I agree. For all the ridicule and worry about the decline of manufacturing, American culture still seems vibrant and constructive in the arts, medicine, life sciences, finance (unfortunately!), higher education and business. And the fact is, we have a fairly vibrant manufacturing sector too... So Ted Rall is humorous... but premature in his doomsaying.
Keep smiling!
