Mid-term bonus point
For those in my writing class at NYU: You get a bonus point on Monday's exam if you can figure out what Amtrak is trying to tell me in this message. Thanks, Jerry... but boy, I dunno. "To avoid these higher points"? Shouldn't that be: "To avoid having to meet these new thresholds?" You don't avoid points.
Also, I have / and had / no idea what "point costs" are. I thought points come to you for traveling. What costs?
So either you haven't solved the problem or I'm as thick as an oak table. Or both.
